Lukas Gage expressed his disappointment about marriage with someone he had only dated for two months. He married the fashion icon, hair stylist Kim Kardashian Chris Appleton, who is 40 years old. They were separated on Nov. 10, 2023.
Not long before, in a WWHL clip, he shared, mentioned he met someone great. Adding that he was “surprised” to see the White Lotus star get married after dating someone for such a short amount of time.
“I had a manic episode for six months. Those furry jackets…” Gage replied, referencing the black furry coats he and Appleton wore for their Vegas ceremony, as seen on an episode of The Kardashians that aired shortly before their split was announced. “The fur coats was a horrible idea,” he added on WWHL.
Lukas’s reaction to cheating rumours
Cheating rumors came out, which surfaced during ongoing relationships following the couple who were filing for divorce. But as Lukas Gage assured him there was no cheating involved in the relationship. Lukas Gage justifies his marriage with his impulsive nature trying to joke about it. He says,
”Yeah, that’s kind of how I roll. I’m a little impulsive. But that was probably one of the most unhinged things I’ve ever done in my life, and I’ll probably have six other marriages.”

In another interview when asked a question about his marriage, embarrassed he apologetically says, ”I mean, We’re still holding on, you’re still the one,’ after three weeks, that was unhinged,” he continued. “That was like the biggest waste of her time. I love you Shania, I’m sorry about that.”
As the reason for the failed marriage is not yet out in the open, clearly, on No 13th 2023 the hairstylist Chris filed for divorce, stating the ”irreconcilable differences” as the main reason.
After the divorce
After the split, Lukas Gage speaks about the constant change in his life, addressing the recent heartbreak saying, ”It’s been great. It’s been a year of learning, growing, changing. Yeah, just constant change. Life’s always changing.” “Listen, life’s always about moving and changing and I’m just someone who likes to keep moving. And life should keep going and never be stagnant in any kind of situation, any work, relationship, anything.,” The White Lotus season 1 alum said. “A lot of really intense stuff has happened, but that’s just life. You just have to roll with the punches and keep moving.”
